INFORMATION REGARDING THE DJ-NAME

IIn spring 1987, the artist started to play as amateur dj and had choosed the name "Mixmaster-d”. The letter "d” on the end stands for his surname Dirk.

During the switch-over time to the professional world as a dj he decided to change the name. The reason was his doubts, whether the name "Mixmaster...” destroys the unbiased attitude of the people.

Therefore 1991, he replaced the name "Mixmaster” by the atypical way of writing "discjockey”- "deejay”. The result was the neutral name "deejay-d”, while the "d” for "dirk” was kept.

Since June 2002, he gained also the copyright for the name "deejay-d” in germany.
